Hi, my goal is to get into Harvard Business for graduate school after studying business in undergraduate. I'm choosing between University of Virginia and William and Mary for undergraduate. I intend to do my absolute best and get the highest possible GPA I can at either school. Which school would help me reach my goal easier?

3 Hour Interview?
I recently had an interview for Harvard that ended up being around 3 hours long. All of my other interviews have been about an hour to an hour and a half, and I've never heard of an interview being this long. Has anyone else had an experience like this?

"Recruited Athlete" without a slot
I was deferred from Harvard with no athletic support, but recently when to a soccer camp at Harvard and met the coach. The coach loved me and his exact words were "I really want you on the team. I've used all of my slots, but I am definitely going to contact admissions and do as much as I can to support your application for admission."
I talked to him a few days ago on the phone and he told me that he did do everything he can with admissions. He said that he will call me back in a few weeks because he is going to follow up with admissions again to restate that he really wants me and that "the program would sincerely benefit if I were to be apart of it" so he can get a more "confirmed answer" on what my potential for admission.
How much will his support help in this case?

I am a parent who was watching the documentary "Ivory Tower". I noticed in the CS50 section all the students showed appeared to have Apple Laptops. More than likely is because Apple helped sponsored the documentary. However I just wanted to confirm this.

so recently I have applied to Harvard with a 3.2 gpa unweighted. They messaged me interested in one of my projects I created for my science class which consisted of making a simulation of a nuclear reactor powered by quantum energy. I haven't got the best grades so what are my chances?

Is being an URM or a legacy more influential in a decision?
I'm not a URM, but my mom went to Harvard, donates (not much though), and works for admissions as an interviewer. I was just wondering which is more influential... I do understand, however, that there may not be a definitive answer.

Typo in essay... worth emailing admissions?
For whatever reason, I was reading over my supplemental essay for Harvard and saw a typo. The sentence read: "My brother and I and polar opposites." The second and should've been are. Both my parents read over it along with a writer and I guess none of them saw the typo. Is it worth emailing the admissions office about, or is it such a small error that I shouldn't worry about it? Sorry for making two threads in a row lol.

Chance a legacy with decent stats
my mother attended Harvard for her undergraduate years. She donates and is an interviewer for the school. Apparently admissions has a list of names of the children (who are currently applying) of alumni interviewers.

Wrestling Recruit
I am interested in the Harvard Wrestling program, and would love to try and be recruited. When do you think the best time to contact the coach would be? How elite do I need to be in order to be recruited? What level are the kids at that get recruited to wrestler there? I am very smart academically. I am a sophomore in high school with a 4.0, with already taking college now classes. I got a 27 on the ACT after freshman year. I go to a public high school and would not consider myself Harvard smart. But I would absolutely love the chance at wrestling there! When do you think I should try to start contacting the coach? Or do I even have a shot academically?

Why does Harvard defer so many applicants?
Why does Harvard defer so many applicants during the SCEA round? It almost seems that they're trying to artificially tamper their acceptance rates during the RD round (possibly to seem more selective or prestigious?).
